This is a ground unit change out. The last three pictures are the old unit. This was a split system heat pump. The old unit was a York. It was 6 years old and had a freon leak that had been fixed before,(not by us) but kept leaking. This unit has the condenser outside and the air handler inside. (this is the last picture in the closet.) We replaced it with a Rheem 13 sear 3 ton that takes the new 410-A freon that is safer for the environment. This unit is also more cost efficient. We replaced both parts. the one outside and the one inside (the closet) but I did not get a picture of the old one before it was removed. This is what you call a split system.
